My name is Sarah Kaplan, and I\u2019m the Student Communications Assistant for the EDI team. I joined this past fall and have had the privilege of working alongside a group of incredibly intelligent and driven individuals. When I first joined, I\u2019ll admit\u2014I wasn\u2019t entirely sure what EDI was all about. As a Public Relations and Communication Studies student, I was eager to learn but unsure of what to expect. However, it didn\u2019t take long for me to realize just how impactful this team is.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s where I come in! Every organization needs strong communication and engagement, especially through social media. If you\u2019ve seen an EDI post or graphic online, chances are, I\u2019m the one behind the screen! My role is to share updates, highlight team accomplishments, promote events, and ensure that EDI\u2019s initiatives reach as many people as possible. Being part of this team has been an amazing experience, and I\u2019m excited to continue growing, learning, and sharing the incredible work EDI does.
