She earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, with an emphasis on literacy and language learning at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Her research centers preservice and in-service teacher voices, primarily related to their own learning and development.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-8904\" src=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/education\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1572\/Dan-Kelley-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\"><strong>Daniel Kelley<br \/>\n<\/strong>Associate Professor of Educational Leadership and Policy<\/p>\n<p>Before joining URI, Kelley served as principal of Smithfield High School for 17 years, and consultant for the R.I. Association of Secondary Principals, and the R.I.
