We are proud to say that we will become the first ever team at URI to build and compete with a Formula SAE racecar. This only further inspires our already determined and hard-working team members to make history at our university!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"fullwidth wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Vision<\/strong>:<br>To cultivate a dynamic community of aspiring professionals driven by innovation, collaboration, and ethical leadership. We hold weekly meetings, come to the next meeting, introduce yourself and we\u2019ll find the best position for you!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"fullwidth wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why Become a Member:<\/strong><br>We offer students real world engineering experience and skills.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This organization pushes students to challenge themselves with real problems and to build professional relationships.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We provide you with the tools, techniques and software you need to succeed as a member of our team, as a student at URI and as a professional in the world of engineering.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You\u2019ll gain engineering design experience, and have access to interactive workshops, networking opportunities and more!&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our team is made up of a variety of majors including, but not limited to, engineering, business and computer science disciplines.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We divide our work into five categories: Suspension, Powertrain, Electrical, Chassis, and Baja.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each of these design teams are led by our team leads, who guide our members through assignments and projects considering their part of the car.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Everyone is welcome!
