September 2nd, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ready to kick things off? Engineering Kick-Off Day, held the day before the fall semester starts, provides an excellent opportunity to welcome new members, build community, and help students discover all that the College has to offer. The day includes academic advising, commuter\/transfer student meet and greet session, getting started in undergraduate research session, and an undergraduate student fair where students get a chance to explore the various student organizations, engineering innovation and entrepreneurship offerings, minors and concentrations, and the International Engineering Program (IEP). It even includes a food truck and Del\u2019s Lemonade as well as lawn games! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ready, set, research! Join our engineering professors for an hour packed with information on how to get started in research. Learn the dos and don\u2019ts for a successful journey on your road to research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food Truck and Del\u2019s Lemonade | 12 p.m. \u2013 2 p.m. | Engineering Quad<\/strong>
Join us on the Engineering Quad for lunch. Grab a bite and enjoy some music.\u00a0Free food to the first 200 incoming engineering students<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 just bring your student ID.\u00a0 Come hang out and have a great time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
