Ready to kick things off? Engineering Kick-Off Day, held the day before the fall semester starts, provides an excellent opportunity to welcome new members, build community, and help students discover all that the College has to offer. The day includes academic advising, commuter\/transfer student meet and greet session, getting started in undergraduate research session, and an undergraduate student fair where students get a chance to explore the various student organizations, engineering innovation and entrepreneurship offerings, minors and concentrations, and the International Engineering Program (IEP). It even includes a food truck and cold treats as well as lawn games! A great way to kick off the year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are invited to join us to give a warm welcome to the College of Engineering\u2019s newest faculty and staff members. Come together to connect with colleagues and be part of our vibrant engineering community as we kick-off the new academic year! Open to faculty and staff only.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New faculty and staff are invited to have their headshots taken, and current faculty and staff are welcome to stop by if they would like an updated photo. We will also be capturing photos of our Engineering Student Ambassadors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get set for success! Our professional academic advisors will be on hand to assist you in fine-tuning your fall semester schedules and ensuring you\u2019re on the right path. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ready, set, research!\u00a0 Join our engineering professor for an hour packed with information on how to get started in research.\u00a0 Learn the dos and don\u2019ts for a successful journey on your road to research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food Truck and Del\u2019s Lemonade! | 12 – 2 p.m. | Engineering Quad<\/strong>
Join us on the Engineering Quad for lunch. Grab a bite and enjoy some music. Free food to the first 250 first-year engineering students \u2013 just bring your student ID<\/strong>.\u00a0 Come hang out and have a great time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Explore Your Options!
