URI Autonomous Racing Club is focused on enabling students to learn valuable skills in robotics and AI through competition and collaboration. The focus of this club is to construct, program, and test a robot to compete in the Roboracer Autonomous Racing Competitions that are held both domestically and internationally. At these competitions, universities compete in several different race formats to demonstrate the strength of their code and algorithms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a member of this club, students will gain hands-on experience working with sensors and hardware and training AI models, while learning the fundamentals of robotics and self-driving cars. If you are interested we would love for you to join us. Open to all students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
