Dr. Martha Rojas<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joy Harjo is a three-term&nbsp;U.S. Poet Laureate, acclaimed multidisciplinary artist of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, and National Humanities Medalist. Harjo\u2019s work includes highly esteemed collections of both poetry and prose, and the author is an internationally renowned musician&nbsp;and performer. As part of her signature Poet Laureate project,<em> Living Nations, Living Words<\/em>, Harjo edited three anthologies of Native American literature<em>.<\/em> Her book <em>An American Sunrise<\/em> (2019) was part of the National Endowment for the Arts Big Read Project for America250.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Harjo\u2019s newest poetry collection, <em>Cloud&nbsp;<\/em><em>Runner<\/em> (W.W. Norton &amp; Company) was released this month. The author will be giving a poetry reading and book signing in Edwards Auditorium, where copies of her books will be for sale.
