The poem was part of \u201cpoem of the day,&#8221; hear by thousands of subscribers worldwide, and broadcasted on NPR across the country. The poem was recorded at Carnegie Hall this summer. She now has a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.poetryfoundation.org\/poets\/laura-marie-marciano\">Poetry Foundation archive page<\/a>,&nbsp;perhaps the most significant and prestigious&nbsp;site for contemporary poetry, to which other poems will be added.
