Enter URI school code #003414.<\/li><li>After admission, your FAFSA will be reviewed, if eligible for federal financial aid your award will be posted in e-Campus based on your enrollment status<\/li><li>Please be advised that your name, address, date of birth and social security number must be accurate in both e-Campus and your FAFSA in order to receive your financial aid award.&nbsp; If you suspect there are any issues, please click Contact Us on the link above.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Federal Student Aid eligibility requirements<\/strong>:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To be eligible for a federal loan you must have a current academic year<a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/h\/apply-for-aid\/fafsa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> FAFSA<\/a> on file<\/li><li>You must complete any items on your e-Campus to-do list<\/li><li>You must be enrolled at least half time for the semester you are seeking financial aid loans<\/li><li>Undergraduate online students with the greatest demonstrated need, may be eligible for a federal Pell grant if registered for a minimum of 3 credits<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Understanding Your Financial Aid Award and Next Steps<\/strong>:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Accelerated, Fully Online&nbsp;<\/strong><strong><em>Graduate<\/em><\/strong><strong>&nbsp;Degree Students<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Accelerated, fully online graduate students may be eligible for Federal unsubsidized and Graduate PLUS loans by completing a FAFSA for the current academic year<\/li><li>Graduate students must be enrolled at least half time to receive federal loans for that semester<\/li><li>There are two 7-week sessions within each semester, a graduate student must&nbsp;be enrolled at least half time (4.5 credits) per semester, to receive financial aid. Students enrolled in a certificate program can apply for a student loan with a third party lender. In partnership with URI,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/enrollment\/alternative-private-loans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ELM Select<\/a>&nbsp;provides a list of third party lenders based upon&nbsp;their historical lending with our students.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Financial Aid Disbursement<\/strong>:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Financial Aid awards are posted for the entire academic year, the total award is divided evenly among fall, spring and summer semesters.<\/li><li>Financial Aid disbursements take place towards the beginning of the term for full-time enrolled students.
