Raised in Kathmandu, Pradhanang studies flooding, water resources and mountain hazards. Alongside Ph.D. student Pratik Singh Thakuri, also from Nepal, she is examining the Aug. 26 event using satellite imagery and hydrologic expertise.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"listing-item\"><a
