The General Education Committee<\/u><\/strong> shall comprise six or more members, one of whom is the chair of the Curriculum and Standards committee. The committee shall study and make recommendations on the establishment, modification or abolition of General Education requirements for graduation to be applicable to degree candidates; consider new and existing courses proposed for general education; evaluate the effectiveness of the general education program; maintain liaison with the University administration for effective implementation of approved recommendations; and cooperate closely with the Director of General Education (see University Manual section 8.20.30). The Curriculum and Standards Committee and the General Education Committee shall maintain consistent standards by which courses are reviewed. #17-18-12,<\/a> #20-21-14,<\/a> #21-22-6, <\/a> #21-22-37<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
