Student Internship:<\/strong> There are paid and for-credit internships available to support the farm, market and communications for the season. East Farm Orchard:<\/strong> Mondays 4:30-5:30 (note this is for groups of volunteers only – contact kelli_kidd@uri.edu<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agronomy Farm: <\/strong>Wednesdays 11:30 am – 1:30 pm or 1:30 – 3:30 pm or 3:30 – 5:30 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Market South (Quad):<\/strong> Thursdays 10:30 am – 12:30 pm or 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Market West (Tootell): <\/strong>Thursdays 2:00 – 4:30 pm<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n

Internship Opportunities<\/h1>\n\n

Open to undergraduate and graduate students! Available positions in the following areas:<\/strong> Farm harvest and preparation, market logistics and produce distribution, communications, event planning and public relations, recipe development, athletics team support, and data collection and research analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Internship Opportunities:<\/strong>
Course: NUT 451: Field Experience in Nutrition<\/strong>
1 credit = 45 hours
2 credits = 90 hours
3 credits = 135 hours
All hours completed from first day of school to the end of the market season (~Halloween)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paid Opportunities:<\/strong> We offer 3-5 paid manager positions in the Fall hosted by Health Services & Health Promotion and research grant funding. Positions include: farm manager, market manager, farm-to-market manager, communications manager, and research manager.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
