This includes the JD, MA, MBA, MD, MFA, MS, DMA, and PhD programs, as well as joint- and dual-degrees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/knight-hennessy.stanford.edu\/admission\/before-you-apply\/eligibility\"><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Knight-Hennessy Scholars has no restrictions based on age, college or university, field of study, or career aspiration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must apply to, be accepted by, and enroll in a full-time Stanford graduate degree program including, but not limited to, DMA, JD, MA, MBA, MD, MFA, MPP, MS, or PhD programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must have earned, in January 2020 or later, a U.S. bachelor\u2019s degree or its equivalent from a college or university of recognized standing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/knight-hennessy.stanford.edu\/admission\/before-you-apply\/eligibility\">eligibility<\/a> page for more information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/knight-hennessy.stanford.edu\/admission\/before-you-apply\/criteria\"><strong>Selection Criteria<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Independence of Thought;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Purposeful Leadership;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Civic Mindset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/knight-hennessy.stanford.edu\/admission\/preparing-your-applications\">Application Materials<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Online Application <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resume<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transcripts and Test Scores<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 Recommendation Letters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Short Answers and Essays<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Campus Application Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For those interested in any of the prestigious post-graduate opportunities, please complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdOgeTqmcKm7p-MSjfRoNpiK1kwS-bTsIjQmLLPgr6Bke__Sg\/viewform\">Student Interest form<\/a> or the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSc-_1gSTAkudRUlIjTZg2YeCEmWtfq2r-mOscoNl7RZUZgrRw\/viewform\">Alumni Interest form<\/a> to receive program updates;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/fellowships\/calendar\/\">Post-Graduate Opportunities Info Sessions<\/a> or view a recording to determine the opportunity(ies) right for you;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For the Knight-Hennesy, the Campus Application Process is <strong>optional.<\/strong>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you would like a university endorsement, please complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/knight-hennessy.stanford.edu\/admission\">online application on Knight-Hennessy\u2019s website<\/a> by the campus deadline (below). Recommendations are optional by the campus deadline, as are your transcripts, but all other components must be complete.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once you have completed the online application materials for the campus deadline, export your application as a <strong>PDF<\/strong>, and send it to keegan.scott@uri.edu. Additionally, contact us for support on your application at any time in the application process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Timeline<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There is no such thing as starting too early for the Knight Hennessy or other postgraduate opportunities! Begin taking challenging courses, think about ways you want to make an impact \u2013 and do those exact things \u2013 and speak with your professors about your collective interests and ideas. Start applying for other fellowships of interest and consider the many opportunities on campus;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend an information session \u2013 Junior year or earlier;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schedule a meeting with the Office of Fellowships@URI;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Begin crafting your narrative and application \u2013 Junior year;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Campus Application Deadline (optional) \u2013 October 1, 2026;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knight Hennessy Deadline &#8211; October 8, 2026 at 1 PM PST.
