Parent PLUS Loan Application Coming Soon: <\/strong>Parent PLUS Loan Application for 2026-27 will be available mid-May. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newly Admitted Students for Fall 2026<\/strong>: Congratulations on your acceptance!  URI has begun processing financial aid awards for admitted students with a completed 2026-27 FAFSA<\/a> (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) in February. Please ensure that you have completed your FAFSA and listed the University of Rhode Island as a school that should receive the results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

May 5, 2026:<\/strong> Last day for students to accept or decline Federal Direct Student Loans for Spring 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

April 20, 2026:<\/strong> Last day to submit verification documents for students who were selected for verification and wish to be considered for Spring 2026 aid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

April 3, 2026:<\/strong> Summer 2026 Direct Loan Application is now live.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

April 1, 2026: <\/strong>Academic Works<\/a> portal opens for current students to apply for foundation scholarships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

October 1, 2025:<\/strong> File the 2026-27 FAFSA<\/a> (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
