A contributor is an individual whose financial information is required on the FAFSA. Contributors may include one or both biological\/adoptive parents, stepparent, and student spouse.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being listed as a contributor on the FAFSA does not mean you are obligated to pay for the student\u2019s education. Each contributor, including the student, will complete only their section of the FAFSA.
