The First-Year Seminar is a 13-week course facilitated by a university faculty or staff member along with a student mentor during a student\u2019s first semester. Through small class sizes and hands-on activities, the course promotes self-exploration, active engagement, and a strong understanding of life as a college student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The curriculum is centered around four key learning outcomes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
