Rhody F1rst<\/a><\/strong> is a student-led organization at the University of Rhode Island (URI) dedicated to supporting, empowering, and celebrating first-generation college students. As the university\u2019s first organization created by and for first-gen students, Rhody F1rst serves as a vibrant community where students who are the first in their families to attend college can connect, share experiences, and thrive together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our mission is to provide peer support, mentorship, and advocacy that helps first-gen students navigate the college experience with confidence. Through workshops, social events, resource-sharing, and campus collaborations, we aim to foster a sense of belonging and ensure every first-gen student has the tools and community they need to succeed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
