Biography

Ciara Linden is a graduate of URI’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program. She is a Rhode Island based artist with skills in a variety of trades, including graphic design, painting, sculpture, illustration, photography, 3d printing, and more. Ciara has a passion for social justice and the arts, seeking to create further opportunities by exploring them together. She spent four years of her undergrad working at the Gender & Sexuality Center under various positions. For three years she lead, supported and counselled students as the Resident Academic Mentor of the Gender, Equity, and Leadership in Sexuality LLC. Her work grew the program significantly. Ciara currently works as our Part-time Coordinator of Graphic Design, focusing her talents on engaging students with diverse and inclusive imagery. Ciara is compassionate and driven in her approach to equity, finding creative ways to demonstrate these traits in all her work. Ciara was awarded the Gender and Sexuality Center Mentor of the Year award twice.
