Coming Out Month<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
A month-long series of events celebrating the lifelong process of coming out. During this month, we host a friendly resource festival hosted on the quad, celebrating National Coming Out Day. We also provide a rainbow door on the quad to show support for coming out of the closet as an ally or member of the LGBTQ+ community.<\/p>\n\n\n\nTransgender Day of Remembrance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>Join us for Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) as we come together to honor the lives we lost to acts of gender-based violence. This is an event to inspire reflection, remembrance, advocacy, and solidarity for the transgender community. Celebrating 31 years of the LGBTQ+ Symposium at URI! The LGBTQ+ Symposium is a series of events aimed at fulfilling the needs of the LGBTQ+ community. This includes raising awareness of ongoing issues within the LGBTQ+ Community (mental health, stigma, LGBTQ+ history), highlighting allies and resources, and celebrating what the LGBTQ+ community has done for society.\u00a0ALL are welcome.
