A majority of our attendees stem from nursing, social work, medicine, pharmacy, and allied health; however, a variety of other professionals and direct service workers will attend programs including individuals from nutrition, dentistry, optometry, theology, recreation, public safety, and senior living\/residential care.<\/p>\n<a class=\"cl-button   prominent\" href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/rigec\/\" title=\"Learn More\">Learn More<\/a>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI)<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"350\" height=\"197\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-147\" src=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1333\/OLLI.jpg\" alt=\"older adults in a classroom\" srcset=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/gerontology\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1333\/OLLI.jpg 350w, https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/gerontology\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1333\/OLLI-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/gerontology\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1333\/OLLI-266x150.jpg 266w, https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/gerontology\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1333\/OLLI-80x45.jpg 80w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/>OLLI at URI has grown to over 1,000 members since its beginning in 2009, and provides a wide range of courses in history, current affairs, expressive arts, film, health and wellness, language arts, literature, music, religion and science and other subjects of interest.
