Register for Classes

3 Easy Steps

Undergraduate Degree Student Registration

If you currently live outside the United States and cannot travel to the US during the June orientation you may register for your fall courses by setting up a telephone advising appointment that will occur during the month of June for the fall term or December for the spring term. An advisor will help you understand the general education program, register for courses, and make a connection with an advisor in your chosen major.

Step 1You may begin the registration process as soon as you pay your deposit.
Step 2Schedule your an appointment by completing this Student Advising Form. You may email or call us at 1-401-874-5927 if you have any questions.
Step 3After your Advising Meeting, you will have the opportunity to review and adjust your fall classes with an academic advisor during the Welcome Week in August.

Visiting and Exchange Student Registration

Non-degree and visiting students can register for courses as soon as they are admitted to URI. Review the URI’s Visiting Exchange Student Registration Worksheet for instructions on adding courses in e-Campus, the online registration system.

Graduate Student Registration

Graduate students will work with an advisor from their department to plan their course of study and register themselves online. You may review the steps and policies for graduate students here.

Degree graduate students will receive information concerning registration procedures and instructions on how to register online in e-Campus, URI’s online registration system.
