Carolyn Chaves<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Specialist, Office of Global Initiatives<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Carolyn joined the Office of Global Initiatives in January 2023 as a Specialist for International Program Software Management and Communications. She holds an MA in International Relations and a BA in Political Science, and is currently completing an MS in Data Science, all from the University of Rhode Island. In addition to her role managing software and communications, she leads the development of the Rhody ‘Round the World<\/em> podcast. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Keegan Scott<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Director, The Office of National Fellowships and Academic Opportunities<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Keegan joined the Honors Program in June 2025 as the Director of the Office of Fellowships. He previously served as an Outreach and Recruitment Officer with the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program, and he is both a Fulbright U.S. Student alumni to Bulgaria (2017-2020) and a Boren Fellow (Turkish). Keegan holds an MA in Eurasian, Russian, and East European studies with a Diplomatic Studies certificate from Georgetown University, and a BA in International Studies from The Ohio State University. He speaks Turkish and Bulgarian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
