In collaboration with the World War II Foundation, PR students will create and implement a social media campaign to promote the Rhode Island premiere of \u201cJourney Home to the Arizona.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tim Gray, a Harrington School alumnus and founder of the World War II Foundation, is interested in increasing awareness among millennials about the complexities of World War II from the soldier&#8217;s perspective. He is looking forward to utilizing the students\u2019 perspectives and expertise to raise awareness using social media. <\/p>\n<p>In addition to the social media campaign, students will participate in a roundtable discussion with four World War II veterans on November 8 at 3:00 pm in the Alumni Center. \u00a0The discussion will focus on the soldiers\u2019 perspectives of World War II. URI President David Dooley and several faculty members will be in attendance. <\/p>\n<p>The project will culminate with the students attending the Rhode Island premiere of \u201cJourney Home to the Arizona\u201d at the Jane Pickens Theatre in Newport on November 4.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Public relations students in Professor Regina Bell\u2019s class will gain real-world experience this fall.
