Why URI?

I chose URI because I wanted to experience a new environment that wasn’t too far from home.

What surprised you the most about URI?

URI surprised me with how many clubs and activities they had to offer students, which made the transition into college much easier, as well as meeting new people and establishing friendships.

Advice for Health Studies Majors:

My advice for future Health Studies majors would be to focus on the core concepts in the curriculum as it will help guide your future and in choosing a specialization.

The biggest strength of Health Studies is its variety.  The knowledge is helpful in both personal and career settings.

What extracurricular activities were you part of?

During My time at URI, I was involved in club sports, which was a helpful support system and encouraged me both as an individual and a peer.

What is next for you?

I plan to find an internship over the summer that will guide my career decisions moving forward. I plan to further my studies once I gain some experience.
