{"id":9433,"date":"2024-03-12T14:37:04","date_gmt":"2024-03-12T18:37:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/healthservices\/?page_id=9433"},"modified":"2024-09-27T10:19:56","modified_gmt":"2024-09-27T14:19:56","slug":"s-h-a-c-members-2024","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/healthservices\/s-h-a-c-members-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"S.H.A.C Members 2024 -2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">S.H.A.C Mission<\/h1>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The Student Health Advisory Committee\u2019s (S.H.A.C.) mission is to promote and enhance students\u2019 health and wellbeing through the collaborative exchange of information on the programs, services, and resources available on campus.<\/li>\n<li>The committee will bring the questions and concerns related to the diverse health and wellbeing experiences of the student population to the leadership within URI\u2019s Health Services.<\/li>\n<li>The advisory committee is composed of students representing a variety of disciplines and class years including graduate and undergraduate students, as well as staff leaders from Health Services and Health Promotion.<\/li>\n<li>The committee is also composed of students from different ethnic backgrounds and beliefs and is open to sharing various opinions on different health topics.<\/li>\n<li>The committee serves to improve communication related to health issues, programming, and resources among students through engaging peer to peer contact.
