{"id":9959,"date":"2025-10-14T11:15:25","date_gmt":"2025-10-14T15:15:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/healthservices\/?p=9959"},"modified":"2025-12-30T14:02:50","modified_gmt":"2025-12-30T19:02:50","slug":"the-spring-2025-waiver-site-is-now-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/healthservices\/the-spring-2025-waiver-site-is-now-open\/","title":{"rendered":"The Fall 2025 Insurance Waiver Site update."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>T<strong>he waiver deadline for the 2025-2026 annual policy period has passed.<\/strong><br><br><strong>Eligible students who did not submit a waiver by the deadline will be automatically enrolled in the Student Health Plan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If you have active coverage under a plan that meets the below requirements you may submit a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/healthservices\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1769\/Fall-2025-Insurance-Petition-fillable.pdf\">late waiver form for review.<\/a><\/strong><br><em>Please note:<\/em>\u00a0<em>If the plan has been utilized since September 1, 2025 coverage will not be terminated and the waiver will not be accepted.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>URI has moved to a new waiver and enrollment partner,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uri.myahpcare.com\/\">Academic Health Plans<\/a>&nbsp;(AHP). AHP manages waivers and all insurance enrollments for students.
