Hands-on learning is an important part of URI&#8217;s history program, and you&#8217;ll have an opportunity to conduct your own research, complete internships, or study abroad. <span style=\"line-height: 1.5\">Our program leaves\u00a0students\u00a0room to complete a\u00a0second major\u00a0or minor,\u00a0complete the teacher education program, study abroad, take advantage of internship programs, and\/or pursue other subject interests.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accelerated Bachelor\u2019s to Master\u2019s Degree in History (ABM)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>History majors with a strong undergraduate record may apply for the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/artsci\/academics\/abm\/\">Accelerated Bachelor&#8217;s to Master&#8217;s Program<\/a> (ABM) in their junior or early senior years.
