This allows us to draw from the talents of faculty throughout the University who share your dedication to pursuing knowledge across disciplinary boundaries, and help you seek out experiences that complement your education.<\/p>\n<p>Students and faculty in the program are committed to improving themselves, the lives of others, and the state of our world. I\u2019m getting to do something so amazing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3>Edhaya Thennarasu \u201921<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1731\/Edhaya-Card.jpg\" alt=\"Edhaya Thennarasu\"><br \/>\n\u201cThe smaller class size makes for a very deep, and focused experience, almost like a one-on-one tutoring session.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><a class=\"cl-button block-level \" href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/honors\/africa-smith\/\" title=\"\">Africa\u2019s Story<\/a><\/div>\n<div><a class=\"cl-button block-level \" href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/honors\/brandon-lovejoy\/\" title=\"\">Brandon\u2019s Story<\/a><\/div>\n<div><a class=\"cl-button block-level \" href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/honors\/edhaya-thennarasu\/\" title=\"\">Edhaya's Story<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Recent graduates who completed the Honors Program have gone on to medical school, have become Rhodes, Marshall, and Truman scholars, won full-year Fulbright scholarships, and launched careers as engineers, pharmacists, and researchers.
