I study&nbsp;Journalism and Psychology, with minors in Justice, Law, and Society and Leadership Studies. I&#8217;m incredibly passionate about media literacy education, youth digital safety, and mental well-being.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a Washington Media Fellow, I have&nbsp;taken initiatives to connect and inform my communities. Notably, earlier this year, I earned a LookUp.Live mental health storytelling grant, where I produced a four-part video series aimed at helping teenagers who have experienced cyberbullying navigate using social media again. I&#8217;m also a storyteller and teen advisor for #HalfTheStory and a Teach For America Ignite literacy tutor. At school, I am a peer health educator, a Digital Wellness Research &amp; Media Coordinator intern, and a URI 101 mentor.&nbsp;&nbsp;You can follow more of my work @anxhelikadedamedia on Instagram!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other interests include spending time with family and friends, working out, writing poetry, traveling, learning languages (currently learning my fourth!), and I really want to learn to surf.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My favorite quote is &#8220;You are as unlimited as the&nbsp;endless universe,&#8221; and I&nbsp;hope&nbsp;all honors program students are reminded of their unlimited potential.
