Professor Yang helped establishing the RIACA Scholarship<\/a> (RI Association of Chinese Americans<\/a>) and served as chair of scholarship committee for several years. The Scholarship awards up to a dozen excellent high school graduates each year throughout the state of Rhode Island. Each awardee receives up to $3,000 before entering college. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
