Mohamed Anis Ferchichi Hosts Panel at NeMLA Annual Conference

Congratulations to Mohamed Anis Ferchichi of the English department! Ferchichi’s panel, “Rethinking the Brain Novel: Towards Experimental Representations of Fictional Consciousness” was accepted for the Northeast Modern Language Association’s 53rd Annual Convention! The interdisciplinary panel investigates the ways in which pessimism was linked to the studies of mental and neural pathologies at the turn of the millennium, and invites proposals discussing philosophical, neurobiological, critical texts, and literary texts.
