Kathleen Davis<\/strong>, English<\/em>, will bring in Honoree Jeffers (Professor of English, University of Oklahoma) to speak as part of URI\u2019s annual \u201cThe Caged Bird Sing\u201d Poetry Contest and Festival. Postponed to Fall 2020.<\/p>\n

Ignacio Perez-Ibanez<\/strong>, Languages<\/em>, will bring in Professor Miguel Zugasti (Professor of Literature, Universidad de Navarra) to speak at URI\u2019s international conference on Hispanic Golden Age theater. Postponed to May 2021.<\/p>\n

Ryan Trimm, English,<\/em> will bring in Lewis Gordon (Professor of English, University of Connecticut) to speak about \u201cA Philosophical Look at Black Music.\u201d Postponed to the 2020-21 academic year.<\/p>\n
