The URI offer is now active: URI students can register with their URI email address for one year of complimentary Kiro access. Check the student program page for current eligibility and terms.

Kiro is designed for AI-assisted software development and may be useful in courses, research projects, student capstone work, and other project-based learning settings where students are building applications, prototypes, data tools, or computational workflows.

URI is especially interested in identifying a small number of faculty who would be willing to try the platform and help evaluate where it could be useful for teaching, student research, AI and computational research activities, and project-based learning. AWS has also offered participating faculty 9 months of complimentary access.

Faculty whose teaching, research, or student projects involve AI-assisted software development are encouraged to review the Kiro materials and consider whether this opportunity may be relevant:

https://kiro.dev/

Kiro student program: eligibility and registration

AWS is offering URI students free access to Kiro, an AI-powered development platform, with complimentary access also available for participating faculty.

[3

post-681","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news
["GET
