There is no application fee. A competitive ABM applicant will have the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The student must be a current student in URI\u2019s Clinical Neuroscience, Medicinal Neuroscience, or Molecular Neuroscience major,<\/li>\n<li>Participated in a meeting with the INP Academic Advisor to discuss their plans and identify the track (Thesis vs. Non-thesis) for which they will apply,<\/li>\n<li>In the fall of the student&#8217;s Junior year, they must have a minimum of 60 credits toward their Neuroscience bachelor\u2019s degree when applying (all three majors are eligible, at time of application) and 75 credits upon acceptance in the spring,<\/li>\n<li>A current 3.2 GPA or higher,<\/li>\n<li>Two letters of recommendation from INP faculty<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*NOTE: Applicants are not required to submit GRE scores. The INP is not able to offer admission fee waivers to applicants.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Deadline<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Fall admission only (no Spring semester) &#8211; December 1<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students will be enrolled in the NEU\u2010ABM program only after they have met the Graduate School admission requirements and have completed 90 undergraduate credits (end of their Junior year). Up to ten credits of approved graduate\u2010eligible coursework can be counted toward both the bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees and the student will be eligible, with approval of the Graduate Director, to take other graduate\u2010level courses during their senior year toward their master\u2019s degree while completing undergraduate requirements.
