Cultural Exchange Social in the Spirit of International Education Week
On the evening of November 17th, URI international students, American students, scholars and families came together to share cross-cultural experiences, as well as collaborate on creating works of art. Ten blank canvases were displayed waiting for a bold student to make the first brush stroke. Once started, the canvases evolved into rich tapestries of shapes and colors, blending American and international elements. The paintings are on display at the International Center.
The next event for cultural exchanges will be during the International Center Coffee Hour on December 15th from 5-7pm, at 37 Lower College Road. All URI students and community are welcome to join us in this pot luck social. Please bring a sampling of your favorite dish!
