The Interprofessional Team Education and Evaluation project at the University of Rhode Island is a funded projects from the RI Executive Office of Health and Human Services as part of its Health System Transformation Project<\/a>.  <\/p>\n

Project Priorities <\/h2>\n

We have identified four priority areas for action: <\/p>\n

    \n
  1. advancing visibility of and advocating for IPE and IPP <\/li>\n
  2. dedicated time, personnel, and resources for IPE\/IPP\"\"<\/li>\n
  3. within-institution collaboration<\/li>\n
  4. collaboration across institutions <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    We plan to achieve these priorities through engaging through populations of interest: 1.) health professions students, 2.) health professions faculty, and 3.) staff\/preceptors from community partners <\/span><\/p>\n

    Mission and Vision<\/h2>\n

    The mission of University of Rhode Island’s Interprofessional Education and Practice Initiative is to develop a culture of interprofessional excellence among faculty, students, and community health providers through effective education and practice that help prepare health professionals to meet the \u201cTriple Aim\u201d – reduced costs, improved patient outcomes, and improved population health.<\/p>\n

    Our vision is innovative educational programs that enable collaboration-ready graduates of the University to lead and practice in interprofessional teams to transform health care delivery in the future.<\/p>\n
