What is it?
- IT governance is an umbrella term that refers to the policies, processes, and structures used to make a broad range of IT decisions.
- IT governance specifies accountability and authority for decision-making, creates mechanisms to understand technology needs and establish priorities, and ensures appropriate stakeholder involvement in strategic and tactical decisions.
