Studying kinesiology means exploring all facets of human movement, and more importantly, how they relate to our health. A degree in kinesiology gives you all kinds of options when it comes to choosing a career, and that’s why it’s one of URI’s most popular majors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You could work in a clinical environment<\/strong> creating exercise prescriptions for people with such health issues as heart disease, obesity, diabetes, or cancer; or in a research setting<\/strong> studying the effects of resistance training on strength and balance in older adults; or design training programs<\/strong> for professional athletes. And that’s just for starters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
