In my time at URI I have been an undergraduate teaching assistant in anatomy and physiology labs, conducted a biomechanics independent\u00a0study, and administered exercise tests through our center for health and human performance.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"listing-item\"><a class=\"title\" href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/kinesiology\/2024\/09\/03\/stephen-cirella-jr-27\/\">Stephen Cirella Jr. &#8217;27<\/a> <span class=\"excerpt-dash\">-<\/span> <span class=\"excerpt\">My research specifically focuses on body image in the athletic population, particularly collegiate athletes. My research emphasizes compulsive behaviors surrounding body image, such as body checking behaviors, and the role that society, culture, and sport play in contributing to body image disturbance (BID) and other potential comorbid mental health conditions.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"listing-item\"><a class=\"title\" href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/kinesiology\/2024\/09\/03\/melissa-lodge-26\/\">Melissa Lodge &#8217;26<\/a> <span class=\"excerpt-dash\">-<\/span> <span class=\"excerpt\">My research focuses on female athlete physiology and examining the associated health and performance\u00a0outcomes associated with low energy availability and Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport across the lifespan.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"listing-item\"><a class=\"title\" href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/kinesiology\/2024\/09\/03\/christopher-simoneau-26\/\">Christopher Simoneau &#8217;26<\/a> <span class=\"excerpt-dash\">-<\/span> <span class=\"excerpt\">During my time at URI I have spent two years working with campus recreation at our two on-campus fitness centers as well as working as an undergraduate teacher\u2019s assistant for anatomy and physiology labs.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"listing-item\"><a class=\"title\" href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/kinesiology\/2024\/08\/30\/kylie-mcphee\/\">Kylie McPhee &#8217;25<\/a> <span class=\"excerpt-dash\">-<\/span> <span class=\"excerpt\">I\u2019m starting my first year of the kinesiology ABM program this fall. I have previously been a KIN300 UTA and I have a strong passion for exercise physiology and biomechanics.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"listing-item\"><a class=\"title\" href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/kinesiology\/2024\/08\/30\/aiden-fletcher-25\/\">Aiden Fletcher &#8217;25<\/a> <span class=\"excerpt-dash\">-<\/span> <span class=\"excerpt\">My current focus is graduating with my degree in Kinesiology. My goal is to become a student in a Physical Therapy Doctoral program once I graduate with my undergrad.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"listing-item\"><a class=\"title\" href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/kinesiology\/2021\/10\/19\/brandon-weick-20\/\">Brandon Weick &#8217;20<\/a> <span class=\"excerpt-dash\">-<\/span> <span class=\"excerpt\">I am currently a graduate student in The University of Rhode Island&#8217;s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. I am also serving as the student Core Ambassador for The Rhode Island Chapter of The American Physical Therapy Association. I graduated from URI in May 2020 with my Kinesiology degree, which provided me with a strong foundation [&hellip;]<\/span><\/li><li class=\"listing-item\"><a class=\"title\" href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/kinesiology\/2018\/10\/12\/justin-zeramby18\/\">Justin Zeramby&#8217;18<\/a> <span class=\"excerpt-dash\">-<\/span> <span class=\"excerpt\">I am currently enrolled in my first year of the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Program at Johnson &amp; Wales University. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology in May of 2018. <\/span><\/li><li class=\"listing-item\"><a class=\"title\" href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/kinesiology\/2018\/10\/11\/nelson-justa18\/\">Nelson Justa&#8217;18<\/a> <span class=\"excerpt-dash\">-<\/span> <span class=\"excerpt\">At the moment, I am concentrating on my studies in physical therapy at URI. I plan to get my National Strength and Conditional Association Certified Strength and Conditional Specialist (CSCS) certification, next summer (2019).\u00a0 <\/span><\/li><li class=\"listing-item\"><a class=\"title\" href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/kinesiology\/2018\/10\/11\/morgan-mckenney18\/\">Morgan McKenney&#8217;18<\/a> <span class=\"excerpt-dash\">-<\/span> <span class=\"excerpt\">I am a second year student in the University of Rhode Island Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program.
