The Language Center is a perfect place to practice your foreign language. We have moveable tables, chairs, beanbags, and white boards to accommodate groups of different sizes. We encourage out-loud speaking practice but also offer a limited number of study rooms for quiet study and tutoring sessions. <\/p>\n
We offer a variety of items for checkout, including:
\nheadphones with microphones for working with tutors online
\ntablets with access to online language learning resources
\nforeign language films and books provided by URI language programs<\/p>\n
Language Center space can also be reserved for events and club activities at select times. We LOVE hosting film nights, game nights, and other types of activities. Please contact us through langlab@uri.edu for more information on reservations.<\/p>\n
