Members participate on a voluntary basis and are invited for their commitment to the program and the profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Expectations<\/strong><br>Advisory Council members:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Attend one virtual meeting each semester (about one hour)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in 1\u20132 optional student engagement activities during the academic year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide insight and feedback on program needs, industry changes, and areas of opportunity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help share program news and events with professional networks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Council serves in an advisory role and is <strong>not<\/strong> a fundraising or governance body.
