id=\"impactstatements\"><\/a>Library Impact Statement (LIS)<\/h2>\n<p>The Curriculum and Standards Committee and Graduate Council require a Library Impact Statement (LIS) when new courses, programs, majors or degrees are proposed. For curriculum proposal information and forms, go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/facsen\/curriculum\/\">Faculty Senate website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Collection Management Officer is responsible for the creation of Library Impact Statements for new course proposals. Faculty proposing a new course or a new program complete the Library Impact Section in Kuali. When the proposal is submitted the Collection Management Officer receives a notice from Kuali. With the information from the proposal, the Collection Management Officer will complete the Library Impact Statement and upload it to the proposal.<\/p>\n<p>If necessary, faculty may complete the available Library Impact Questionnaire form at the library website and submit the form to the Collection Management Officer via email.
