No equipment check-out is provided.<\/li>\n<li>In the use of all MakerspaceURI equipment, software, and space, the highest priority is given to the URI students and faculty and their projects that are either course-related or do support\/enhance their learning, teaching, and research activities.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Users and visitors are responsible for their own safety during all equipment use at the MakerspaceURI. The URI Libraries and the MakerspaceURI are not responsible for any injury that a user inflicts on himself\/herself during the use of the makerspace equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Users and visitors agree to comply will the rules, regulations, and policies outlined in <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/studentconduct\/student-handbook\/\"><em>the URI Student Handbook<\/em><\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1549\/Patron_Code_of_Conduct_2023.pdf\">URI Libraries\u2019 patron code of conduct<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Users and visitors must respect the health and safety of the University community and abide by all applicable laws and policies of URI and <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/library\/about\/policies\/\">the URI Libraries<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The URI Libraries staff reserves the right to deny access and use of the MakerspaceURI.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Users and visitors must abide by all US copyright and patent laws. The URI Libraries and the MakerspaceURI are not responsible for any copyright breach.<\/li>\n<li>Notice Concerning Copyright and Other Intellectual Property Restrictions:&nbsp;\n<ul>\n<li><em>The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction.
