{"id":4467,"date":"2017-11-22T10:12:44","date_gmt":"2017-11-22T15:12:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/maf\/?p=4467"},"modified":"2017-11-22T10:12:44","modified_gmt":"2017-11-22T15:12:44","slug":"maf-represented-well-at-cerf-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/maf\/2017\/11\/22\/maf-represented-well-at-cerf-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"MAF Represented Well at CERF 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--themify_builder_static--><\/p>\n<p>Nelle D\u2019Aversa (MAMA \u201917), TalyorWitkin (MAMA \u201918), and Jessica Vandenberg (PhD \u201920) presented at the 24<sup>th<\/sup> Biennial Coastal &#038; Estuarine Research Federation (CERF) November 6-9th.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019Aversa gave a traditional oral presentation on her master\u2019s thesis research entitled \u201cPerspectives on Emerging Water Quality Monitoring Technologies: Understanding Factors that Affect Technology Adoption in Coastal Management\u201d during the Impacts of Urbanization on Estuarine Ecosystem &#038; Water Quality session on Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Witkin gave a 5-minute \u201cIgnite\u201d style presentation on his summer work at the Coastal Resources Center. He added a social and economic perspective to the Working Waterfronts and Ecosystem Services session with his talk, \u201cExploring Northeastern Market Opportunities for Farm raised Kelp.<\/p>\n<p>Vandenberg gave a traditional oral presentation during the Lessons learned in estuarine management and restoration session.
