The 15th URI Calc-Bowl took place on April 2, 2025. This year, ten teams from Rhode Island high schools competed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Calc-Bowl is presented annually by the URI Math Department with the support from the URI College of Arts and Sciences. Calc-Bowl is a lively mathematics competition where precalculus and\u00a0calculus\u00a0questions are given in multiple-choice format. The competition is “jeopardy-style”: one multiple-choice problem at a time is asked and the first team to buzz in gets to answer the problem. The competition consists of multiple rounds and the exciting final round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The third place went to a Combined team from Chariho and South Kingstown High Schools, the fourth to a team from Lincoln High School.
