A total of 30 credits is required for either option, with at least 15 credits in graduate-level industrial and systems engineering courses including ISE 533 (Advanced Statistical Methods for Research and Industry) and ISE 555 (Deterministic Systems Optimization).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Thesis Option<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The thesis option requires:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>30 credits<\/li><li>21-24 credits of course work<\/li><li>6-9 credits of thesis research under ISE 599<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Non-Thesis Option<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The non-thesis option is available to part-time students, or in exceptional circumstances, to students with permission from the graduate studies committee.
