Through collaborative discussions, field-based learning, and peer exchange, awardees will expand their professional networks while gaining new insights to inform impactful journalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this inaugural workshop, participating awardees will explore pressing environmental and climate challenges, including the impacts of plastic pollution on ecosystems, climate change and marine life, oyster restoration as a tool for ecosystem resilience, and the role of Indigenous agricultural knowledge in building sustainable food systems.
