His stories have run on many NPR programs. He grew up on a peach farm in California\u2019s Central Valley and spent the last seven years reporting on agriculture and environment across the Golden State. He covers everything from California\u2019s feast or famine water supply to how climate change impacts forests, cities, and farms. He\u2019s filmed multiple award-winning documentaries and has won five Golden Mike Awards through RTNA of Southern California for his radio reporting. In 2016, he was awarded a second place podcast award from PRNDI for his podcast Outdoorsy.
