In order to successfully complete the program, you will need to earn a total of 9 academic credits. The core curriculum consists of one required <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/naval-science-technology\/egr-201\/\">seminar course<\/a>, with the remaining credits coming from the electives you select from the list of options. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Students enrolled in the concentration will join the <\/span><b><i>Navy STEM Crew<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, through which you will participate in valuable professional and educational experiences, organised by the <\/span><b><i>Southeast New England STEM Coalition<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. These opportunities will include seminars, field trips<\/span>, and<span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> recruiting events,  to help you find internships and jobs in your target field. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Application for the concentration must be filed in the Engineering Dean\u2019s Office at least one semester prior to your expected graduation date. Forms must be signed by one of the coordinators and the chair of the students department.
