ANCHOR Fellowships are open to U.S. citizen undergraduate engineering students in their sophomore through senior years. The Fellowship is a paid summer opportunity for students to gain experience in research labs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overview<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  • The program runs from May 26 to July 31 during summer 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Fellows will work 30 hours per week while receiving a stipend of $6500.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • On-campus housing and food are provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Who is Eligible to Apply?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      To participate in this program, students must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Be U.S. citizens<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Pass a background check<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Complete mandatory training<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Be rising sophomore, junior, or senior undergraduates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Fellows will be matched with a faculty member to work on naval-related research. See the below research topics graphic for an idea of what you might research. Successful candidates must be in good academic standing and should possess a strong interest in naval sciences and research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
