An opening for a Ph.D. research assistantship in the University of Rhode Island, Electrical\/Biomedical Engineering is available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Award: This position is a full research assistantship which will include full tuition waiver and monthly stipend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Responsibilities : The research assistant will participate in development of advanced EEG signal processing, neural stimulation instrumentation and software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Primary areas of interest include: (1) digital signal processing of acquired data, (2) mathematical modeling, (3) analog circuit design and signal acquisition, and (4) human experiments. The successful research assistant will join a team of signal processing and hardware design faculty, neurologists, and neuroscientists currently dedicated to this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Required qualifications: minimum of M.S. or equivalent degree in, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering or closely related field; course work or research experience (publications a plus) in one of the areas of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
