{"id":101,"date":"2020-06-30T10:21:33","date_gmt":"2020-06-30T14:21:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/neurorehabilitationlab\/?page_id=101"},"modified":"2020-06-30T10:21:34","modified_gmt":"2020-06-30T14:21:34","slug":"job-openings","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/neurorehabilitationlab\/job-openings\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Openings"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>An opening for a Ph.D. research assistantship in the University of Rhode Island, Electrical\/Biomedical Engineering is available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Award: This position is a full research assistantship which will include full tuition waiver and monthly stipend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Responsibilities : The research assistant will participate in development of advanced EEG signal processing, neural stimulation instrumentation and software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Primary areas of interest include: (1) digital signal processing of acquired data, (2) mathematical modeling, (3) analog circuit design and signal acquisition, and (4) human experiments. The successful research assistant will join a team of signal processing and hardware design faculty, neurologists, and neuroscientists currently dedicated to this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Required qualifications: minimum of M.S. or equivalent degree in, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering or closely related field; course work or research experience (publications a plus) in one of the areas of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates should describe previous experience, skills, and send unofficial transcripts, GRE and TOEFL scores, name and contact information for three references to: besio@ele.uri.edu (email applications are preferred).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The University of Rhode Island is a principal public research and graduate institution in the state of Rhode Island.
